Uses:

1. Mainly used in powder coatings, also used in thermosetting coatings, fiber treatment agents, adhesives, antistatic agents, vinyl chloride stabilizers, rubber and resin modifiers, ion exchange resins, and printing ink binders.

2. Used as a functional monomer for polymerization reactions. Mainly used in the manufacture of acrylic powder coatings, as a soft monomer copolymerized with methyl methacrylate and rigid monomers such as styrene to adjust the glass transition temperature and flexibility, improve the gloss, adhesion, and weather resistance of coatings. Also used in the manufacture of acrylic emulsions and nonwovens. As a functional monomer, it can be used in the manufacture of photosensitive resins, ion exchange resins, chelating resins, medical selective filtration membranes, dental materials, anticoagulants, insoluble adsorbents, etc. Also used for modifying polyolefin resins, rubber, and synthetic fibers.

3. Due to its molecular structure containing both carbon-carbon double bonds and epoxy groups, it is widely used in the synthesis and modification of polymer materials. Used as an active diluent for epoxy resins, stabilizer for vinyl chloride, modifier for rubber and resin, binder for ion exchange resins and printing inks. It is also used in powder coatings, thermosetting coatings, fiber treatment agents, adhesives, antistatic agents, etc. Additionally, GMA significantly improves the adhesion, water resistance, and solvent resistance of adhesives and nonwoven coatings.

4. In electronics, it is used for photosensitive anti-corrosion films, electronic wires, protective films, and far-infrared and X-ray protective films. In functional polymers, it is used for ion exchange resins, chelating resins, etc. In medical materials, it is used for anticoagulant materials, dental materials, etc.
